My question is - If you bought the book and read it, why hadn't you taken it off your Wish List?  Pat

Good thing you cancelled the transaction. I hear that ordering a book from yourself will create a miniature black hole and suck you straight into a parallel universe.

Ok seriously, I remember reading another post a few months back about this. It has apparently happened before.

I forget to take books I buy off my WL all the time.  So far I've caught them all before I was offered one.  But I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it happens.

I'm trying very hard to put all books that enter my house onto my TBR pile.  I've ordered many duplicates in the past and if that cuts the number in half, I'll be a happy girl.

There was a member who was mailing out a bunch of books all at once.  The next day she received a wish list book in the mail, and it was one she had mailed to herself.  If I recall, she was laughing pretty hard.

Actually it was me who did it. Lol. Unless if there was another member who also did it too. It was during my first couple weeks of membership here at PBS that I wasn't paying attention and mailed 4 books to myself cause somehow it was still on my wish list. Haha.
