I have noticed that when  I am trying to search a member's shelf for books that the genre filter won't let me scroll down past the literature and fiction. i alos tried searching my own shelf and the same thing happens. is anyone else having this problem? could there be a glitch in the system?

Molly, I'm not sure if I'm understanding correctly.  When I filter a bookshelf by genre, that's all the system will show me.  So when I sorted your bookshelf by Literature & Fiction, the only results I will get is Literature & Fiction.  If I filter by Mystery, I will only get Mystery results.  It's not going to show the Literature & Fiction first and then show the rest of the bookshelf.  It's only going to show Literature & Fiction.  Does that make sense?

When I click on your bookshelf and click the "search filter browse by genre" button, three buttons appear.  The first is labled "keyword", with a "search" button.  The second is "binding" with a "filter" button.  The third, unlabeled, is the genre button.

I click on the genre button and the bottom genre I see is "Literature and Fiction".  I mouse over that and am able to use my scroll function on my mouse pad to scroll down to the genres below "Literature and Fiction."  Alternatively, I can use my arrow keys to move up and down the genre list.

So it's working for me.  I wonder if it's a browser issue.  I'm in Firefox.

what i mean is when i go to search in the genre they show a drop down list that you can scroll down through. its starts witharts and photography. when i try to go down the list past literature and fiction the gray bar on the right side won't go any farther. so i can search for any of the genres that are underneath literature and fiction on the list.

@Molly

I am experiencing the same thing using Chrome- a workaround is to click the drop down arrow and then use your page down key and it will jump to the next part of the alphabet.

This is a bug and should be reported to PBS.

While you're waiting for them to fix it, you can also type the first letter of the genre you want and the list will scroll to that point. So type m to get to the Mystery genre.

Yes, use the Contact Us link under Company at the bottom of the screen. Make sure to tell them the problem is specifically in Chrome.
