I have a book someone wanted, and when I went to go post it to her WL, there were no "Post this Book" buttons (just the little tiny BIR, TBR etc ones). What does this mean? I'm able to IM her, and I think I'm even able to order a book from her shelf (though I didn't check that). I know she wants the book so I'm wondering what's up, like if she put herself on hold by accident or something. She specifically asked for the book, so I don't think she'd have done that if she was on hold. Thanks for any info, and you can now get back to talk about flipping book credits!

sounds to me like her account is on Vacation Hold....she may not realize that you can't post to a WL if it is on hold.

Check if you can order a book from her shelf.  It sounds like her account is on vacation hold.

send her a PM - she many not realize you can't post. 

Thanks, I did PM her right before I posted this. Hopefully she'll get it soon (I'm on the east coast and she may be on the other side) and re-activate her account. First time I've seen this!

ETA: Yep, I can't order from her shelf either, and it does say she's on hold. Problem solved!

You can view someone's WL when they are on hold.  I found this out recently when someone wanted to post some WL audio MP3CDs to me.  I put them all on autorequest. But the only ones she was able to post right to me were the ones where 1 was #1.  On the others it put them to FIFO.
