hello I believe have two different carriers on my route

one of leave the books on my doorstep (one time even under my doormat (one time he even knocked on my door )

the other one squeezes even books into my small apt mailbox..

(he even squeezed my meds (I had 7 pills bottles that way (I made a complaint about that)

but what should i do here?

I was wonder if is way to leave a note on the package that ship to me

like this

using the address

POST CARRIER DO NOT place in APT mailbox

my address

city and zip code

although the package slip

would probally look like this

POST CARRIER DO NOT place in APT mailbox

c/o my name

address

city and zip code

My mail carriers jam stuff into my box as well. I am not sure there is anything we can do about it. Sometimes I have books jammed into the box and some at my door and wonder why they all weren't at the door.

I am thinking of writing a note on a post it and putting it in my box and asking that the books that don't fit in easily be left at my door..

Try going to your PO and ask them to hold your packages at the PO and have them leave a message in your mailbox.

Agree with Ruth, if you haven't already discussed this with your local Postmaster that would be the best place to start.  Tell them the situation, that you don't wish to have packages crushed into a tiny box, and ask their advice for solving the problem.
