The person you requested from must have either denied RCs or cancelled the orders and your requests were passed on to the next person offering each book.

The person offering the deal should have PM'd you back and told you to cancel.  They are the ones who messed up.

To keep you from that problem in the future, if you have RC's it's safer to PM the person with the deal before you request.  A lot of people seem to not realize if they cancel for RCs the request isn't just canceled (and really, other than deals, it doesn't matter).

I find it really annoying that requests roll over to the next person with no warning.  The same thing happened to me.

I have already sent a message to TPTB asking them to simply send us a notification (no approval, nothing but a short email) letting us know if our request is going to roll over to another member, either due to a time out or to a cancellation.
