Today I received a response to my post on the WL Multiples Forum - that's good. When I went to the member's WL to post directly to her, I could see all her WL titles, as well as the Wish, BIR, etc., buttons, but the "Post this Book" is missing. I rebooted my computer, I switched browsers, but no luck.

I like all my transactions to have a PBS footprint so just having her buddy me the credits is not an option. Since I can see all the titles and covers on her WL, her list isn't on hold, right? Her profile indicates that all WL titles are on AR.

Is there a glitch I need to report to PBS?

Elizabeth, can you see the "Post this book" button on any of the books on her wishlist or just not on this particular book?

There's no Post This Book button on any of her titles. :-(

Normally this would mean that the person has their account on hold.  PM and ask her to check and see if she's on hold.

I am on hold so you can look at my wish list for a comparsion.

Thanks Cozette, your WL looks just like hers, so so I've PM'd her as you suggest. I've not run into this before, I guess I was under the impression that if a WL is all on AR, one could post to it, is this a recent change, or have I just been lucky?

That's why I asked if it was like that with all her wishlisted books.  I didn't realize you couldn't post a WL book to someone if it was on auto request.  Good to know.

It's always been this way.  I have my account on hold often because I travel.  You can see my list but can't post to it, regardless if it's on AR or not.   I can still get books that are on AR through FIFO.

I learned this the hardway. Even if they autorequest it-if they're on vacation it won't go to them unles they're #1 on the WL.  They need to come off vacation before you post the book.  There used to a post this book button with vacation hold.  One time I took someone up on a multiple auidobook offer. I added them to my WL, autorequested but was on vacation.  She posted them all to my WL but the ones ones that came to me were the ones where I was the only wisher and therefore 1st in line.  The others went to FIFO.
