I have a book, pretty worn and enjoyed, the cover even has tape on it!  It was posted on PBS>  When I requested it on, the sender told me about the condition,  but I requested it anyway because I really wanted to read it. It won an award for the most distinguished contribution to American Literature for Children, (Newbery Medal)  It's a wonderful book..for children and well as grownups!..I'm 58 and loved it.

The title is: From the Files of Mrs. Basil E. Franweiler by E.L. Konigsburg

As long as it meets the PBS condiions guidelines, it should be fine to post. The tape on the cover ... is it fixing a rip of over 1 inch? Because if so, it wouldn't be postable.

I'm not being nasty but I don't think you're supposed to post something like that on your bookshelf.

I think you can post it in the Book Bazaar and even ask a credit for it there.  If I have it right in my mind there are rules in BB about this, you can list the book and tell what's wrong and ask for a credir or offer it with something from your shelf. .

Sara,

Yes the rip is an inch and a half. I think I will place  it on my post like you have placed unpostables. It's a good little book and I just want it to be enjoyed. It was printed in 1972 and it appears to have 'been around". : )

Thanks

No, I would not post it to my bookshelf.

I would, however, post in the Book Bazaar or down in my signature area.
