Yes, another questions about postablity!!

I have a former library book, great condition, until you get to (literally) the very last page.  Not the last page of the story, but one of a few blank pages at the end.  The very last one, which would be attached to the page glued to the back cover, is missing. Because it's a blank page, it should be no big deal, except that since it was the final page, you can now see the spine.

This isn't the same as a cleaved spine, and again, it has no real effect since it's a blank page amongst other blank pages.

I know I wouldn't mind getting it, but does it meet guidelines?  They do specifically say "No loose or missing text pages"  which makes me think it's ok.

I'd have to agree with your take on the rule.  It isn't a text page.  I would just worry about the reason why the page is gone.  If it feel out then I would worry about the constitution of the binding.  If it was removed otherwise then the integriity of the binding isn't in question.  I'd wait to see if anyone else has something to add, but my vote goes for "Postable".

It was definetly torn out, there's a little corner left.

I would hazard to guess that it might have been one of those pages that you pull out to order other books from...I was told that it is ok if that page is missing.  FIW that is my 2 cents!!!

Here is what I found in the help docs:

Pages:  No loose or missing text pages

It sounds as though your book would be fine.  Can you tear off the extra bit of paper so it isn't so obvious that it has been torn out?

If the spine is showing, can you use some glue or tape to fix it?  I had a book with a cracked spine & I was able to successfully glue it and you wouldn't know there was ever a problem.

No way to fix it so that the spine doesn't show - that was kinda the purpose of that page!!  But Christy's right, it may have been an order page - otherwise who would desecrate a book by tearing out a page?!!

Thanks all, I'm gonna post it.
