This book has some kind of sticky stain on the back cover. I am wondering if it is still postable.

Well, you may be able to remove the "sticky" - try a small amount of baby oil or "Goo Gone".

If it is a stain, then no, its not postable.

I just looked at the picture, but I can't tell if it would come off or not.

I guess the better question would be, would this be a rwap if this was recieved this way?

Well, if I received it but the stuff came off, I wouldn't RWAP it. If it was a permanent stain, then sure, I would do a RWAP.

Sometimes I receive books with dirty edges, or whatever, but if I think the flaw is repairable, I just accept it without RWAP and fix it. For example, page edges can be sanded lightly with sandpaper ... good as new.

Goo Gone, I'm pretty sure you can find it in supermarkets or drug stores, probably in the cleaners aisle .. .its a bottle of sticky stuff remover, for crayons, stickers, gum, grease, etc. Some people like it, some people don't. You only need a drop or 2 for most stickers, I'm still working with my first bottle that I got 5 or 6 years ago ...

Lots of people say that baby oil will work, too.

Put it up on the BB or offer it as a unpostable.
