I've read the Help Center but want to make sure about this book.  What's your opinion?

The Last Mango in Texas by Ray Blackston.  Wishlisted by several people.  I think I won it new from someone but the envelope was damaged when it got to me. As a result, there's a small place on the upper right corner of the cover and the first few pages that has a greyish look to it. I think the envelope must have gotten caught in some kind of equipment. On the cover, the place is about 1/2" x 1/4"; the color is rubbed off and there's a very small piece of the cover gone at the tip. The spot is progressively much smaller on the pages.

Otherwise the book is in excellent shape.  Postable?

I think so. It never hurts to PM the person before you mail it, but I'd post it.

It sounds borderline to me.

Since it's WL I would offer it in the book bazaar.  You are allowed to ask a credit for unpostable WL books in the book bazaar as long as you state what the damage is in your post.  Then if someone wants it you can post it directly to their WL.

Rick, that's how I handled it to start with, but the first person in line responded that she didn't think it was postable.  That was fine with me but I wanted to see about reposting it.

Mary, I hadn't thought about offering it that way in the book bazaar.  I'll try that.

Thanks to both of you for helping me clarify this!

To me it sounds borderline. If I received I probably wouldn't complain about it.  But many people are really picky about the books they receive.  Not worth the RWP. Better to offer it up with the damage listed before hand.
