I have two questions about postability...

the first is: Introductory copies from a publisher...Harlequin offers a few introductory copies when you join their book clubs and those say in small print on the front cover "introductory copy". Except for this, they are identical to the one you buy in the store. Is this postable or does it fall under the ARC category?

second...I received a book from someone else that is a hardcover..on the actual cover (not the dust jacket) there is nail polish, as if someone was polishing their nails on the book and swept the nail polish on the book as well as their nails. I got the book a long time ago and never looked under the dustjacket, so it's not an RWAP situation..I just wondered if it could be reposted. i saw a few threads where people mentioned that nail polish on the cover could be considered writing, so I am unsure. LOL.

Thanks for any thoughts on these subjects! :)

Introductory copies would be postable from your description.

Nail polish would count as a stain and would make the book unpostable.sad  You could offer it in the Book Bazaar discussion forum, or free with an order from your bookshelf.

Thanks Patty! Anything unpostable I just donate. I'm actually doing a cleanup right now and putting together a bunch of things to bring to GoodWill which is why I'm checking on the ones I an unsure of. :) We're in the process of house hunting so I'm getting an early start on the sorting process. :)
