I received a long-WL'd book today...that has a pair of large stickers in the middle of the front cover. Links to photos:

My inclination is that this is unpostable, given this line from the PBS help docs: "BookCrossing books may have stickers or stamps or markings on the outside or inside covers or page edges of the book; this is OKAY. These may not obscure text." Clearly, these stickers do obscure text on the cover, but I'm not sure if the "text" mentioned in this criterion applies to the cover or just the inside pages. Thoughts?

I have always taken stickers on the outside of the book to be ok and that the "may not obscure text" refers to text of the story. Bookcrossing stickers can get excessive and completely cover the entire book and are sometimes inside the book covering up story too, that is what I take that to be talking about. I would consider the book in the picture completely postable.

I second Melanie's view - that book is completely postable.
