I have a paperback book that is in excellent condition except that there is a small punchture in the cover and two of the pages, and several of the other pages have indentations on them as if other punctures were attempted. Like it got bitten by a mouthful of pins and only one went through. It's a wish listed book.

That's a tough one.  What's the book and how long is the WL line? I personally wouldn't mind it but someone else might. I think technically by PBS guidelines it is postable.  Covers can have a tear as long as it's under 1".  It's not an animal bite is it?  You could put a post in book bazaar and on  that books genre page: list the problem with the book and say if anyone wants it posted to their WL to post and then PM you.  Most likely you'll find someone who wants it anyway, especially if it's got a long line.

If you just post the book to the general WL you will have to PM the person to make sure it's OK to send. If they don't want the book then they have to request it to keep their place in line, then you have to cancel the request.  But if you post it again it'll get offered to the same person.   The best bet is to do what I suggested above.

Joe College by Tom Perrotta. I had it on my WL for a few weeks, but I guess I was the only one. Zero members wishing right now.

I have no idea if it's an animal bite or not. Another PBS member sent it to me this way and I didn't notice when I was looking.

Well it's not WL and there's no copies in the system. I would post the book and then PM the person with the condition.  Then if they don't want the book you can cancel the transaction. The book would be removed from your shelf. You might have to wait to repost the book if they put it on their WL or it'll just offer it to the same person.

If someone refuses it on thier wishlist doesn't it just go to the next person?

Sharon - If they refuse yes, but in this scenario the person with the book is the one that would cancel.  When only one person has it WL'd and you need to cancel the order. Once you cancel, the book would be removed from your shelf and put back on their WL. If you repost right away, it would just go back to that same person again. You'd want to wait to repost until this person rec'd the book. If there are multiple people WLing a book and you PM a person with a condition that they say is unacceptable, it is usually inconsiderate to ask the requester to cancel because they would have to go to last in line.

OP - one puncture hole, I would consider postable.
