I am mailing out postcards, it the postage cheaper than a letter ...anyone know? thanks :)

Be sure it actually fits within the postcard dimensions.  3 1/2" by 5" is the MINIMUM size for a postcard.  4 1/4" by 6" is the MAXIMUM size.  Also, be sure to address them correctly.  It should look like a smaller version of a regular envelope.  If you address it so that it has to be held with the long side vertical to read the address, it is not a postcard - it is a non-machinable letter and will cost 62 cents to mail.
