I posted several books directly to another member's WL.  Now I see that they don't meet her RCs (smoking).  When I decline because of her RCs they'll get automatically offered to the next person on the WL.  I don't want that to happen because I need to send them all out together to save on postage.  If I put my shelf on Vacation Hold before I decline will I be able to delete them from my bookshelf before they are offered to anyone else?  I've never had this situation before.

Hmm. I don't when it comes to RCS. Probably.  I know I've had my shelf on hold for some time because the TBR is out of control. Also I posted a bunch of heavily posted books from my TBR to my shelf to start their way up FIFO.

Anyway: I went on hold to stave off book orders (don't need credtis) and WL offer (too many books already).  I occassionally take myself off hold to post WL books.  A few times now a book has timed out without being accepted and because my shelf was on vacation it went on my shelf on hold.

So I would think that declining for RCS would do the same thing.

I believe if you decline the order, but not for conditions, the books are automatically taken off your shelf.   Maybe someone could clue you in on if I'm right on this or not.

I think Cozette is right.  Instead of declining the RC's I think if you select the "I cannot mail this book" option, it will remove them from your shelf.

Oh yes. I didn't think about that last night.  Just decline for other reasons.
