I tried to post to someone's WL but on her WL page there was not a "Post this Book" button. I checked some other members WL and the button was there for them.  I know she wants these books as she requested them thru the "multiple wish list" thread. What do ya think?

Is her account on vacation hold?  I think that affects the WL if items aren't on auto-request.

Yup! That's it. I'll send her an email asking to take her account off vacation hold.  Thank you.

I thought that having WL on auto request would solve this, even if on vacation?  All my WL books go on auto-request when I go on vacation, and I still receive them, of course.

Or is it different if somebody is trying to post books directly to your WL?

(I'm the person Donna B. is trying to send to  LOL)

I just didn't want to take my shelf off hold, which I just put on, because I'm completely out of postage $$ these next 2 weeks due to going away and needing the $$ in my budget.

Auto request will keep the FIFO books coming.  But it does not let folks to post to you.

What Emily said.  If you are on vacation hold and the books are on AR, people will be able to see them still, just not post directly to you.
