True memoir of Luna Kelly, written by herself. A very interesting look at the settling of Nebraska and the lives many farmers had to live, good and bad (about mid-1870s on), from a woman's viewpoint. After her personal memoirs, her political memoirs, written by herself, are included in this book. Luna Kelly was very active in the Populist party and even published her own weekly paper for a while.
