I think we can all agree that Lester is very special here at PBS. I'd like to invite everybody to pray for him (if you are the prayer type). |

Refuah Shelemah, Les & Marilyn. He's such an incredible spirit, PBS and all of us here will be poorer for his absence. |

I had written this along with my post in one of the CMT threads about Lester but felt it read a little prematurely bereaved. I haven't known what to do with it (I saved it because I felt it was still a good paragraph) so I thought I'd post it here. There is a shortage of kindheartedness, wisdom and wit in this world. Those who possess and share all three from the seat of a single heart are the rarest. Such is the stuff of Sainthood. No mere words can manage to truly express the value of such individuals, nor should they. It is the effort and intent behind the attempts to describe how cherished and appreciated they are that prove their exceeding goodness. It is in their wake that their size may truly be measured. And it is in profound anecdote and warm recollection that only these few find a power and life beyond that of the typical man. Last Edited on: 7/7/08 1:17 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Les and his family have been in my thoughts and prayers. Amazing how an online friend can touch so many and be missed so much! |
