SF books need to be wrapped in plastic before mailing.

How many of you have had a postable arrive unpostable because of the wrapper got damp?

(End of public service announcement, LOL)

(And how many of you thought this post was going to be about The Ring? <G>)

I've had at least 2 suffer water damage. I hate when someone puts a book in a manilla  envelope and drop it in the mail. I've a few hardbacks with the corners bent because of inadequate padding.

I've had a few experiences with books getting wet in the shipping, and always wrap them in plastic wrap within the package.  Please everyone remember that some of us live in places were a seemingly harmless coating of cold dry snow quickly turns into water after a package is brought into the house.
