Chef Charly Poisson owner of LaFermette a leading French Restaurant in upstate New York finds a body while out searching for nettles to make a spring tonic. Charly knows he should leave the investigation to the Police. but when he notices something 'fishy' about a new company that provides seafood entrees to restaurants, and his ex-partner Maurice becomes involved, Charly decides he had better do something. He suspects the body is also connected somehow so with the help of his friends Charly investigates.
