Presumption An Entertainment

Presumption proves by its very title to be a worthy pretender in continuing the story of Pride And Prejudice, and the promise of the title is confirmed by the elegance of the language, the intricacy of the plot, and the shrewdness of the wit.

picks up where Jane Austen left off when Darcy and Elizabeth were married. I think Jane would have thoroughly enjoyed this book

I think this is one of the better sequels to P&P. The characters were true to the original work. Nice quick read.

While I was waiting for this book in the mail I decided to read some reviews on Amazon.com. Many of them were so scathing that I didn't expect to enjoy this book at all.

Happily, I found it to be a very enjoyable read. Yes, there are certain details that lack continuity with P&P. This is not a scholarly take on a sequel. But it is enjoyable.
