1/2 star. If this isn't my lowest rating, it has to be tied. This book is 100% awful. Pure unadultrated crap. If this put ever saw an editors pen that editor should be dragged into the street and SHOT!
The author , Jack Chalker, who will never be mistaken for a good author, but whom for some reason, I will never understand, I seem to be addicted too (and like most addictions, I feel guilty about). Is worse than usuall in this book.
In this book he repeats himself so many times you want to yell out. YOU SAID THAT ALREADY!!! 5 times. Other times he has different carectors repeat something another charter said, line for line. It is just plain WIERD!
In other places he gives you completely useless facts about his "universe" and in other places he gives your MORE completely useless facts about his "universe" that contradict his previous useless and boring facts.
Just how bad is this book. I only just finished "rereading it" because I knew I started it, but didn't remember finishing it, and as I got to the last page, I realized damn it I have read it it is just soooo damn bad, I blocked it out.
Thank you I am feeling much better now.
