Great military book. The hero, a Navy SEAL, is heroic and delicious. A few little plot points keeps me from giving it a 4 1/2 or five star rating. Good emotional scenes in book, needed some tissues at times. The SEAL impersonates a prince who is a target for terroists.
This is the first Brockmann book I've read.
HOT HOT HOT
I liked Joe and Ronnie's Story (although I did want things to move a bit faster). A Strong man who isn't afraid to show his feelings for his woman. ****
Part of the Tall, Dark, and Dangerous series featuring Navy SEALs. Brockmann's characters are well-developed and she really lets us get into her heroes' heads.
This great read from Brockmann had me in tears by the happy ending. Veronica is a media consultant who has the seemingly impossible task of transforming a tough talking New Jersey SEAL into the prince he happens to resemble. Joe, the SEAL, has a few surprises up his sleeve, like the fact that he knows 8 languages and is an incredible mimic. There's a powerful scene when the "prince" visits a children's cancer hospice, nice background info about Joe and his childhood role model, good banter between the SEALS, and some daring rescues. Other books in the series are Harvard's Education, Frisco's Kid, and Forever Blue.
I completely loved this book and I reccomend it to anyone.
First book of Seal Team Alpha. Great read
Good book. I enjoyed it. 1st in a of books about the SEALs of Alpha team ten.
One of Suzanne Brockmann's early "Navy Seal" books. This one is the story of Lt. Joe Catalanotto. His assignment is to pass himself off as a European prince, who as been targeted by terrorists, with the help of media consultant Veronica St John. Sparks definitely fly when "Lt. Joe" becomes "Prince Joe." If you like Suzanne Brockmann you won't be disappointed !
Great! This is book 1 of her Seal Ten 10 series.
Great characters. First book in the Tall, Dark and Dangerous series.
I really loved this book. It was excellent.
A Navy Seal must pose as a European prince who has been targeted by terrorists.
Book 1 in the Tall, Dark and Dangerous Series.
Great start to the Tall, Dark & Dangerous series!
can a navy seal impersonate a prince?
If you enjoy Suzanne Brockmann's books. You will love Tall, Dark and Dangerous series from a few years ago. All about those Navy SEAL's. Prince Joe, Hawken's Heart, Forever Blue are just a few. Try them.
The government wanted Veronica St. John to teach a tough, combat-hardened Navy SEAL how to impersonate a visiting European crown prince who'd been targeted by terrorists. But even if every gorgeous inch of him did look the part, this guy simply wasn't prince material...
It wasn't just that everything about Lieutenant Joe Catalanotto -- from his New York accent to his arrogant, streetwise attitude -- said he was anything but an aristocrat. No, the real trouble was the way he made his refined, upper-crust teacher want to slap him silly -- and then kiss him senseless...
