This was just ok. The story dragged at times but it did keep me wanting to know how it all turned out in the end.

Very sweet book about two characters learning to trust one another. I loved Katherine because she was a strong female character who did not allow herself to be pushed around.

This was a great read.

A good historical romance. Some interesting facts woven into the story, and character nuances that you don't find every day. My biggest complaint about this book is the love scenes. They didn't seem very romantic and I never buy a love scene where a virgin experiences a "little pinch" and has no pain afterward. That said, they were real love scenes where many historicals just completely gloss over or skip them. If you want the love story told to completion, this book meets that criteria. Didn't do much to set up the future stories, imo. We barely get to know the other two brothers.

In This the first Royal Brotherhood book, a new Earl, Alec Black, is just finding out that he is Prinny's son, and that he must now marry or lose his easts because of his step-father's mismanagement.

He just forgets to tell his young Miss she is being married for her fortune, then he goes and falls in love, and well.... he doesn't want her for just her fortune anymore, but now that she knows, how does he get himself back into the black in her accounts??

One of the books of a series called "Royal Brotherhood" In the book Alec is the by-blow son of the Prince of Whales. He needs to find an heiress to pay off his debts. Katherine Merivale needs to get married to have access to her trust.
Alec brings his half-brothers together (They don't seem to know about each other)and proposes an alliance to help all to benefit. Alec turns on his charm to win Kit; he hides some of his back ground and his reasons for their courtship.
This is a good book, gets a bit bogged down with dialogue, would consider it a warm and slightly flowery story.
