My daughter LOVES this book. It's on her homeschool book list this year and she's loving it. A great little adventure about a princess and a goblin.

This is deservedly a classic. Certain scenes made a very strong impression on my imagination and memory--the bath in the grandmother's tub, the weird animals coming above ground and prancing about, the trek underneath the mountain. I loved it so much as a child that I bought it again as an adult and still have it.

The young Princess Irene is in danger. The goblins are plotting to kidnap her, bring her down under the earth, and make her the goblin prince's wife!
