Another good and fun read from Ringo. Soccer mom takes some time off from the family. This leads to an adventure that turns her into a ninja, sword weilding, gun toting witch. There's pretty much everything in this one including a totally clueless husband and a lot of religion. You'll have to read it to get how it goes together.

I LIKED this book. There's fantasy, the police & FBI, murder, and monsters. Plus the main character is a christain woman who's power in her faith is strong enough not to be bowed over by all the mayhem. She's not a bible thumper. The book is not a bible thumper. Just extremely enjoyable reading.

I liked it, good vs. evil, action, a hero I could relate to and a look at faith that was not overbearing. It exemplified the difference between faith or maybe spirituality and religion all while being entertaining and plot twists that kept me guessing.

I usually don't enjoy books that carry religion into the plot. This was well done, not preachy. The main character is mother , a former military brat, and a Presbyterian. She finds out the demons are real and has to kill one in order to save herself and many others in a Louisiana town. The book is broken into several parts that could stand alone as short stories. You see her faith remain strong and her skills improve. This is probably going to become a series.

It is a pretty exciting story, although it is a little grim for my tastes.

I thought the heroine was great. I'm sorry he hasn't continued the series.
