For the guidance of men holding the priesthood some of the ordinances which may be called upon to administer, as well as suggestions on how to conduct meetings are given. It also gives exact prayers that might be needed. For example of Anointing the sick it says: Calling the person by name--“In the name of Jesus Christ and by the authority of the Holy Priesthood I lay my hands upon you head and anoint you with this oil which has been dedicated for the blessing of the sick to the end that you may be made whole and restored to health.”
The last part of the book consists of hymns selected from among those most often heard in the gatherings of the Church.« less
