So I used it for the first time today and it was real easy......so how long or is there a certain amount before you get a little icon next to your name when you post or it says it on your profile/bookshelf?

Questio added:

Can you use printable postage if you are offering a deal? like 3 for 1.....how would you account for the other two books weight?

Not sure. I think mine might have showed up the next day. I haven't used printable postage in a while and they took my icon away, haha.

I'm pretty sure I noticed the little icon next to my name after the second or third time I used printable postage.  No idea if it's related to the number of items shipped or just takes a while to update after you first use it.

I only use it every once in a awhile and just the DC for game books yet I always seem to have the printed postage ICON.  Oh it's gone now.  I just noticed.

Yes, you can use printable postage for books that are in deals. Before you print the wrapper, there's a textbox on the page that allows you to specify the weight of the book(s) you're sending. You should always check and adjust this number, even if you're only sending one book, because the database is not 100% accurate on weight. Also, hardcover book club editions have the same ISBNs as the retail editions, but they're smaller and lighter. You will pay too much for postage if you just use the database weight when you're sending a smaller book.
