Just finished it and I know it's in demand, so I wanted to offer it to my romance forum buddies first.

If you want it, PM me and I'll post to your WL.  If not claimed in a day or two, I'll post to FIFO.   Bought it new; not a PBS book.

I keep seeing this title all over the place.  I don't know if I want to try it out or not because of the mixed reviews on Amazon..

I hate cheaters in romance ( although, the fact that the heroine cheated and misbehaved as bad as the hero did while they were separated did intrigued me.  All I gotta say is: YOU GO GIRL!) I know thats so awful of me.  ^_^

If  you've read it, did you like it?  Or did you find yourself mainly feeling frustrated and angry?

Wish I would've seen this thread earlier, I might've bit the bullet and just ordered it from you.  :D

Now that I've gotten rid of this book, I feel free to confess that I hated HATED Private Arrangement with a passion.  Good plot idea VERY poorly executed.  Annoying hero & heroine.  Book so disjointed by the jumping around in time that it's diffult to follow.  Very sorry I actually bought it new.  Good thing someone took it off my hands.   Love scenes not nearly detailed or steamy enough.

Can't figure out how in the heck it go so many good reviews.  What were those reviewers smoking (and give me some please),

Haha, good thing I waited.  I really liked the idea of the heroine going on with her life and fully enjoying it versus what majority of the romance genre heroines act like in a plot similar to this.  Which is act like a dullard nun with no life but charity work while the hero is having a ball....  Thats really the ONLY reason why I wanted to read it.   Has anyone seen this Private Arrangements Book Trailer?  LOL hilarious.   But I think I'll pass on this book.

However, if anyone know any books with a strong heroine who enjoys life  after a bad marrige(doesnt have to be married to the hero, and please no cheating fest), please let me know... only one I can think of is the Brazen by Susan Johnson.

Now me, I thought the writing was elegant, fresh and witty. I liked the way the story unfolded, it added suspense.  And it made my heart ache, which is my number 1 romance novel criteria.

I swear I read it completely drug free. :-)

I liked the writing but absolutely hated the hero and the heroine.  I could handle the jumping back and forth and less than steamy sex scenes, but if I can't at least like the people I'm reading about on some level then it's a lost cause.
