I can't speak on behalf of everyone else, but my Paypal account seems to be working okay.  Have you tried logging out & logging back in to see if that works?

Sometimes if you accidentally click back or refresh when checking out, Paypal will freeze and put a hold on your account for a few hours. When that happens, you need to give it time to clear, and then proceed.

Lois, Are you familiar with the Book bazaar? Members sell credits there for substainally less then at the PBS kiosk. (currently aorund $2.15) just a touch of common sense, and you'll find the many reliable members posting there.

I bought some PBS money through pay pal. When I first was transferred to pay pal, the page timed out, I just went back and started the process again, no problems.

My account couldn't be hung up because I never made it to Paypal, the address box was still showing paperbackswap. I tried it 3 times in a row, the third time waiting over 15 minutes. Nope, just a blank page. I just tried it again, over 12 hours later, and got the same result.

I never heard of the book bazaar. i'll look for it.

Book Bazaar is very useful. Just click on Community on the bar at the top of the page then Discussion Forums then Book Bazaar. Good stuff!

Try clearing your computer's cache.  Go directly to Paypal and sign in.  Then, go to Paperbackswap and do your transaction in the same window.  That works for me if Paypal's hanging on a site.
