I wasn't sure what to expect when I first picked up this book. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. An interesting story and well formed characters kept my interest throughout. Upon finishing this book, I immediately started book 2.

slightly different Koontz (not surprising, since he has a co-author!), but I enjoyed it very much--very engaging; I also read Book Two

Great start to the Frankenstein series by Dean Koontz. It's a bit wordy at times, but it's fresh and fun and a great read otherwise.
