Book 4 in the series. I enjoyed these books immensely. I hated for them to end.

Wonderful with children but unaccustomed to traveling alone in the pioneer West, Rusty is accompained on her first orphanage placement trip by the kind but reserved widower Chase McCandles. But when she realizes how little time Chase spends with Quinton, Rusty's heart is torn. How can she convince Chase that his son desperately needs a father. And can Chase learn to trust God to help him demonstrate his love and affection for Quniton -and for Rusty

Rusty who works for an orphanage, meets Chase McCandles. Later she meets his little boy whom she loves. Her heart becomes involved with the father but she must not marry the father just because she loves the child.

I love the whole series. Great writing, love this author!

Lori Wick's stroies are always a worthy read. Compassionate, and compelling. Truely a gifted author.

I really enjoyed the writing in this story, but only to a point. It was a very sweet and dare I say sappy type of writing (maybe all christian fiction is this way). I don't mind this at all, but maybe in smaller doses. I'm not sure I can take 400 pages of it. I did enjoy the story though.
