This book is about an abortion case. If that is a touchy subject for you, don't read the book. Especially if you are pro-life.

This book goes into great depth on the abortion issue specifically late term abortion and its constitutionality. No matter which side you're on it will definitely make you think. As for me, I now have a different appreciation for the other sides views. The book also takes you into the nomination of a Supreme Court judge and how each side of the aisle mud sling and try to undermine each other to get their way in the process. It's a very good story with strong currents of todays world.

Protect and Defend
President elect Kerry kilcannon appoints a new chief justice to the Supreme Court, a female judge with a brilliant record. An abortion rights case is making its way toward the judge.

I'm not usually a fan of this genre, but really enjoyed this. Liked all of the political action. Very believable.
