I can't remember the answer to this and know someone will be able to help:

If I put my account on vacation hold on 9.3.12 - will it go on hold tonight at 11pm  (9.2.12) or tomorrow night at 11pm (9.3.12).  Thanks.  Pat

If you put your account on Vacation Hold, the hold is in effect immediately. If there are any requests already in process they will continue to process so any Wih List holds will continue on to requests with the current wisher they are held for and anything in the buyer's remorse 1hr hold will continue to a request, but no new requests can be initiated on your shelf.

Melanie - I put my account on vacation hold starting 9.3.12, but I don't know if it will be effective tonight at 11p or tomorrow night at 11p.  I do have a book on WL hold, and it will expire tonight when PBS does the next change, so was really wanting to know if the book on WL hold will roll over or not if it isn't taken.  I'd rather it didn't roll over.  Thanks.  Pat

I don't think it's effective immediately if you choose a date ahead of time.  Just put it on hold for 9/2/12 to preven ti tfrom rolling over.

WL books usually roll over the next full hour after you posted the book not during the night like book requests do. So if you posted the book a 8:33 pm it'll roll over at 9pm 2 days later.

Sorry, that's what I get for answering without my glasses onsurprise It would have went into effect at midnight PBS time when the calendar rolled to 9/3.
