Any idea how many swaps must time out by the system for an account to be suspended? I'm noticing people that I've requested books from and have waited the full length of time have the request timed out but their account is still open but more than likely abandoned. Just curious if we knew the estimate.

there may be multiple reasons for a request timing out. I have had a request I made time out and I was contacted later by that member and they told me they were out of town and they weren't keeping up with their account. So sometimes it is negligence not abandonment that causes a request to time out. It may only happen one or two times in a year. I think some people attach more importance to this club than others do, although now that there is more money involved hopefully everybody will take the club more seriously.

PBS keeps the numbers secret. But I imagine that it is a lower total for Wish List offers missed than for orders missed.

They seem to get to the abandoned accounts in clusters as well. PBS will put the account on Hold and send out an email requesting contact.
