I was just able to order a book from the 'Available Books' list from the home screen that was one of my wishlist items.

I was # 3 of 4 people requesting that book.  When a book is posted that is wishlisted isn't it supposed to be offered to the person who is first on the wishlist before it gets offered to the general pbs membership? Otherwise it appears unfair to the people waiting on the wishlist.

It may have been listed under a different ISBN.

Same format as your wishlisted book - PB or HB?

When you say you ordered it - do you mean that you saw it on the homepage, clicked on it, and an "order this book" button was there?  If so, that's awfully strange, and shouldn't have happened. IF it is the same ISBN as on your WL.

Yes - same format as my wishlisted book - mass market paperback.

Lisa - yes, the 'order this book' button was there, I clicked on it and now the book is listed on my account page as a book I've ordered.

Jean may not be going crazy.  I just saw a book on the home page listed as available and I clicked on it and got the Order this Book button.

Yet, up until last week that book was on my WishList and I was 9th out of 13 people wanting it, and I had been at #9 for over a month.  That's why I broke down and bought the book myself.  Because there had been no progress on my WL line...

Yes, it is possible that all twelve other people got frustrated at the same time I did, and we all went out and bought the book ourselves and took it off our WL...    but doesn't that seem a bit unlikely?
