I ordered a book from a member who was running a 3/1 special and pm'ed her about the other two I wanted for freebies.  Then she didn't mail them on time and the one book I ordered got rolled over to the second in line to send it.  So I received the book I ordered but  not the freebies.  This is the second time this happened recently.  Is there a way to keep PBS from automatically rolling my request over to the next sender in line when it is part of a "deal"?

I hope this makes sense to someone!

Thanks for any help

I think the only thing you can do is be vigilant and watch the dates the sender has agreed to mail the book out. And if they don't, then be quick to catch it as it transfers over.

I'm not sure there is a way to stop the roll-over, as the system won't know it's part of a deal or not.

The system can't stop it.  I like to set everything up by pm and then order only when the mailer is ready to mail the books.

I always PM first and ask if they are still doing the deal and are X&X books still available.

I always ask first also- but the last time  I did I was told they had all 3 books so I went ahead and requested 1- then a day later I got a pm saying they made a mistake and the request they accepted came from someone other than me and mine rolled over.  I wasn't happy.   Now that same book has gone lost.... so luckily I got my credit back-  was happy because I didn't want to pay a whole credit for a book that I was supposed to get 2 freebies with.
