This delivery information is a puzzle to me.  Does anyone have any idea of how I could have mailed a book with PBS DC, had it arrive at it's destination unit, only to be now isted as "enroute in Albuquerque" .  What do the PC, OF, and DX codes mean?  Wonder why it wasn't delivered to the individual instead of being shipped back to NM?

  •  As of today 7/31, it's enroute in Denver, CO, so guess it's on its way back to the requesting member!  What a trip that book is making.

Unfamiliar with that 'DX' notation.  Surprised it got the OF (out for delivery) notation if it was at the wrong PO...but Diane should know!

What's the final delivery city?  Is this the package mentioned in another thread, destined for Wappapello?  If so, it's possible the receiver has submitted a forwarding address and will be charged additional postage when the book arrives.

This is the same package mentioned in another thread and yes, it was/is destined for Wappapello.  It was at the correct post office which is why I'm wondering why it's now "enroute in Albuquerque".  The receiver just ordered another book from me and the address is correct.

I had an "unknown-DX" for one of the books I sent out, which ended up being returned to me after it went unclaimed by the recipient. If you go to usps.com and enter the DC tracking number, it gives the real name for some of those "unknown" ones (e.g. "unknown-PC" is "sorting complete" and "unknown-OF" is "out for delivery").
