The book I am referring to is "The Documents in the Case", published in 95 and written with Robert Eustace.  The question is this ~ is this a Lord Peter Wimsey?  I couldn't tell from the book cover or the small description.   Thanks a bunch!

It is not a Lord Peter Wimsey story. The original year of publication was 1930.

That's correct, not a Lord Peter story, and I think not one of her best.

After you have read it, if you decide to read it, here's an old (1981) NT Times article on the chemistry involved. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C0CEFD71239F930A25753C1A967948260&sec=health&spon=&pagewanted=1
