In order to pay the 49 cents for a request how much money will we have to keep in our pbs account. Can we keep just 1 or 2 dollars or do we have to put larger increments in. or do we give pbs a credit card number? that would be a security issue for me. |

Hey Charles! You can put whatever $ amount you'd like in your account either through Paypal, credit card or snail mailing a check. However, each time you load money online, there is a $0.50 transaction fee so if you think you'll be requesting a decent amount, I would probably do about $4.90 each time to cover up to 10 orders so you're not getting assessed that fee too often. |

thanks for the info. I don't see how they got away with referring to this as a free site for swapping books. There's nothing free about it. |

If I request a book, and the Sender (or I) cancel the request, will my SF be refunded to my account? Kinda confusing...:) |

the easiest way to do it would be to charge the 49 cents when you mark the book as received. |

Yes, 100s, if there is not another copy in the system for the request to roll over to, the SF would be refunded and the item placed on your WL if there is room. Charging the fee after the fact would never work. People that object to the fee would simply never mark it received, basically shafting both the site & the sending member (until the site noticed a pattern and banned them). |
