I had a wish granted, but the book went lost.  I know with RWAP you get put back in the front of the wishlist line.  Does this happen with lost books? The book is/was coming from Hawaii, so I think it will actually get her, but if it doesn't do I have to start back at the end of the line?

No, you will go right back to the front of the line once it is officially marked lost.

If it is a fairly frequently posted book, you may have a bit of a nailbiting time, re: the timing of receiving your officially "lost" book from Hawaii, and dealing with a second offer, but eventually it should all work out.

I would probably put my account on hold for a bit to keep from getting offered it again. Books going to and from Hawaii frequently go lost.

If you have any other WL books you are near the top for you can put those on autorequest.

Thanks for the advice.  I think I will put my account on hold like you suggested.  I do want to give it a while longer to get here.

You can also put a RC on your account.  I received one that stated x title of book from overseas just went lost and to please decline requests for x title to give the lost book more time to arrive without losing their place in the line.  Well, the RC wasn't a run-on sentence.  But that is the basic idea.

This is a good solution if you have other WL books that are about to come up.  Putting everything on hold stops other books, unless you set them on auto.

I like Emily's idea that way you can still swap and your books on the bookshelf can still be offered.
