I have 35 old Jean Plaidy paperbacks and 4 Norah Lofts paperbacks. They are OLD -- some are falling apart and a few have water damage. (I bought them off ebay years ago as a lot.)

What should I do with these books? I don't think my local used book store would want them nor the library. I don't mind donating them or shipping them free for shipping, but I hate to just throw them away.

What do you guys do with books like these?

You could figure out the number of credits you could sell off to recoup postage (estimate about $2-2.20 per credit) and offer them here in the Bazaar for that number of credits.

You could see if there is a FOL sale to donate them to, though I know the FOL sale I work we throw away falling apart and water damaged books.

Sadly, some books reach the end of their useful life when they become too damaged so some of them might be ready for the recycle bin.
