Hi everyone. How do I post links in the PBS forums correctly? When I paste a URL from my clipboard in Internet Explorer, the result doesn't look right. I am blind and can't use the toolbars in the forum editor. I can only type from the keyboard. When I proofread my posts with my screenreader, my links sound like they're really messed up. Is there a syntax for writing links or a way to use HTML on the forums? I've checked the PBS help area and don't see any answers that would help me there. My signature seems to be affected too, so I'd really like to fix it. It's always possible that my speech program is just reading my links in a weird way, but I don't think so because it reads everyone else's links well. Thanks for any help any of you can provide.

The link in your signature works fine.  Sorry, I don't know enough about the forums to offer advice, but it looks like that link at least has no problems.

Monica I don't know how it works, but any text that is a full weblink including the http will show up in the forms simple as the work "Link" in italics and underlined.

Your signature line is fine.

Thanks for your help. :) I'm glad to know I'm not doing something wrong. I'm new to posting on forums and thought there was a posting trick I didn't know about.

I know when you see the link in the editing phase of the post it looks a lot different then when you hit submit.  So maybe what it's reading to you is the extending web address which would sound funny.  When you hit submit and look at the post you see the blue link.
