When I placed Robyn Carr's book "Promise Canyon", 2011, on my wish list I was number 35.  Since that time my placement, number 35, has changed many tiimes.  I have done nothing to cause it to change.  Now it says that I am #31 our of 75.  At one point it said that i was # 30 our of 68.  My question is why does my placement change?  Can anyone help me understand this?

      Thanks,   Ann

Well, going from 35 to 31 means that the book was posted and/or those in line in front of you removed themselves from the wish list.  You are closer in line to getting the book.

From 30 to 31 could be a book going lost or someone taking their account off vacation hold, restoring their place in line.

The second number (75, 68 in your examples) is the number of people total wishing for the book.  That number doesn't affect you.

Going from 35 to 31 means somoene has removed themselves from the WL line or put the book on hold.
