I have a copy of a book that is wish listed - it doesn't have water damage but it did have a soda spilt on it however the pages are not discolored at all & there is no actual damage to the book or the book cover (it's a hardback) BUT some of the pages in the last chapter are a bit wavy at the top from having been wet & dried. I'm really unsure about listing it as it's a bit wonky. Is there a place I can maybe list it in the forum? I don't care about getting a credit for it - I just hate to see the book wasted when I know so many people want to read it.

oh it's New Moon by Stephanie Meyer.

You're correct in wondering, as it's unpostable.  The Posting Guideline section about this type of damage includes "any liquid".  However, the damage is slight and it's a popular title, so I'm sure posting it as a freebie in the Bazaar will have it gone quickly.

You can post it in the Book Bazaar, Darlean.

I know you said "no actual damage to the book or the book cover", but those wavy pages do count as "actual damage"! The PBS rule is if any liquid has ever been spilt on a book, then it cannot be posted to your bookshelf.

What you can do is go to the Book Bazaar and offer it there. There is a thread with the title: ***AUGUST Unpostable Wishlist Books***

ETA: Apparently all of us were answering at the same time. Sorry for the repeat. I'm not trying to harangue you, really!

I do understand what "actual damage" is -I didn't want to post the book I was looking to give the book away and wondered the proper place to do that -  it's already found a new home so thanks for everyone that mentioned the bazaar.

Just because a book is free, many including myself may still not want it if it was in a really poor condition - I was trying to explain that there was no damaged to the cover or "outside" of the book it wasn't warped or puffy from the liquid but the pages were wonky. I wasn't trying to say the page damage wasn't actual damage.
