There's a little button next to the first space for posting multiple books that says you can put multiple isbns separated by spaces, lines or commas in that box, and they will populate the list.  I can't get this to work.  Can someone provide more instruction?  I have read through help docs; I'm not trying to import a file, just copying & pasting isbns.

How are you formating the list? From what software? I just tried it with commas, spaces, and both at once and all worked fine, as soon as I pasted in the list from Word they populated down the column.

The only other thing I can think of - how many are you trying to copy in? I only did about 5, maybe you are copying in too many for it to know what to do with. I think there are only about 20 fields there so you'd probably only want to copy in that many.

I was using Word, too.  i tried commas, spaces, and linebreaks and none of them worked.  I'm pretty sure I had enough fields available, but next time I try it, I'll double check.  I ended up just copying & pasting one by one.

Tried it again, and discovered that after typing in all ISBNS in field #1, you have to MOVE CURSOR back to the beginning of the field.  That's what causes the program to populate the rest of the fields.  I was just leaving the cursor where it was after I finished copying & pasting, and then clicking on "post books"...that didn't work, of course.

I pasted in the ISBNs separated by commas, I'm sure it would work with spaces or linebreaks, the secret is moving the cursor back to the beginning.

You might try pasting everything to a plain text editor, then pasting it into the site. Word likes to put invisible characters in there which could be screwing it up.

As long as I move the cursor back to the beginning of the field, Word seems to work fine.

Word worked fine for me too. I just highlighted everything in Word - Copied (ctrl C), Pasted (ctrl V)  into the first box, and it automatically populated down the fields.

Ahhh....move the cursor back to the beginning of the field.  Might be a little tidbit of information to put in the instructions to begin with.
