I was just checking out my RL books to see if anything was now available (I use this list as an overflow for my WL).  I happened to notice that one of the books had a copy available for order and I immediately clicked on the button to order it.  Out of curiosity I went to my account page and click on the book under my "Books I've requested" tab.  I was curious be cause this particular book is part of a pretty highly WL series and the last time I had looked at it (a week or so ago) it was still WL over 100.

Well, when I clicked on the book under my tab, it sent me to the book info page and on that page it says there are over 100 wishers for this book.  How is it possible that there was a copy available for me to order 10 minutes ago if there are that many people ahead of me on the WL?  This particular book was never on my WL as that is currently maxed out, but was on my RL waiting for room.

I've seen this said once before and it doesn't seem like it would even be possible with the programming. I recommend sending in Feedback and asking the Team. They are the ony one's who'd be able to answer the question. Post back here if you get an answer, I'd be interesting to see what happened.

Thanks Melanie, I've sent in feedback to TPTB.  I guess now, all that's left to do is wait.  I guess the thing that had me most concerned is thinking that I've jumped the WL line on someone that has been waiting for much longer than I have.

Still no word back from the team, but I imagine they are busy and I told them my request was not a high priority as I was just really trying to quench my curiosity.

btw: my guess about the situation is that something gliched somewhere.

Heather - Just note that the Team will get back to you via email. A few times I've send in feedback and I always think I'll be getting a PM back (it happens everytime...I always seem to forget it.)

Yeah, I have checked my email several times in the past few days for a response, but still nothing.  I have sent in feedback before and received the response email with no problem, so I just assumed the team was extremely busy right now.

I think you're right, they are busy.  And they won't want to respond until they can figure out what happened.  That may take some extra time.
