Hi all,

I received a book with underlining throughout one chapter (it is not a textbook).  When I go to report the problem, the dropdown menu does not list this particular issue.  How do I report this.  I am not looking to get my credit returned since it is a book I want to read.

Book damaged by sender? Then just send the sender a note stating that they should've sent you a message about the book before mailing it. Tell them that your note requesting a credit back, but it will give them a heads up.

Just looked and it is damaged by sender.

It's reported as Damaged By Sender.

Writing in books is actually allowed if the sender PMs you first, before mailing, and gains permission to send the book anyway. So, if they didn't do that, then a RWAP is perfectly appropriate.

If you are not requesting your credit back,  just unclick the checkbox that says you want your credit back, as you fill out  the RWAP form.  You can also say that in your message to the sender.

Textbook is a loose PBS classification.  But the sender MUST receive requestor approval before sending a (textbook) with highlighting, underlining, margin notes, etc.

If #1 the sender did not ask, and #2 you did not approve, the book is RWAP.
