I have two books that I am considering to post. Both are wishlisted. One has sticker residue along the spine. The other is in brand new condition, except it has a sticker on the front cover that just says the name of my college. Besides these points, they are both completely postable--no rips/tears, no writing/highlighting, etc. Would you say that these stickers make them unpostable?

Stickers as you describe do not make a book unpostable. You can remove the sticker residue with Goo Gone or a rubber cement thinner like Bestine. I get books with sticker residue but I always think it is good book karma to remove the residue before sending, if you can without damaging the book.

I love, love, love Goo Gone for this!  I can find small bottles at Dollar Tree, and it lasts a long time.
