I realize now that I do not understand how tags work, and am afraid I might have messed something up in the PBS database by trying to use tags.

I’ve seen it posted in the forums that if there are WL books with the same title but a different ISBN than a book on your bookshelf you can tag them, saying that the book is also available as ISBN xxxx….  I tried this yesterday or the day before with My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult.  There were a number of copies of this book with different ISBNs.  By adding them to my Reminder list I totaled them up and discovered the total was less than the total number of people wishing for different versions of this book.  However no one was wishing for the ISBN that I had.   I put tags on the WL books, indicating that the book was also avaliable under the ISBN that I had.  Now today when I search posted books for My Sister’s Keeper it shows only one paperback English language version of the book, 81 copies of it, and all with my ISBN number.  So was it possible that I inadvertently changed the ISBN of all the My Sister’s Keeper (J. Picoult) in the system?  It is very scary to think I might have that kind of power.

Personal tags don't affect the database.  I'm not sure what did cause this, but I know your tags didn't.  I've done the same thing before with no change.  It may be some leftover glitch from the problems earlier in the week.  Don't worry.
